Mobilize: tackling traffic issues using digital twins

Mobilize is a tool that provides a digital twin of your city, that makes it possible to visualize, analyze and simulate data across policy domains. Whether you want to visualize your air quality data, analyze origin/destination traffic or simulate flooding risk, it is all possible in a digital twin. 

In Bruges, data and AI-driven traffic insights are used to provide visualization and simulation of traffic flows. Problems with cut-through traffic and nuisance during road works can be tackled proactively and an adapted mobility plan can be drafted. The output of the mobility solutions were used as input for VITO’s Quark-model to see the effects of a circulation plan on the air quality in a neighborhood.
